I am passionate about working with people on an individual basis and I tailor my counselling approach based on what is most helpful for each client. I enjoy working in a strength-based, goal-oriented, collaborative way with clients and believe that small changes can make a big difference.

My experiences working in mental health and addictions thus far have taught me that my clients always know best, and I strive to work with you to uncover and amplify your inner strengths and help you to build sustainable solutions. I believe that what we might see as ‘problems’ are often situational or relational, and never truly live inside of us - we are each resourceful and resilient. I will work with you to navigate the obstacles and barriers that might be standing in the way to your desired goals, and to repurpose skills and strategies that may be concealing the path to healing.

I have experience working with anxiety, stress, depression, relationships, and with substance use addiction. I am in my final year as a Master of Counselling student with City University. I have previously completed my undergraduate degree in psychology, with a minor in applied ethics in 2015 and I completed a post-degree diploma in Interpersonal Mental Health and Addictions in 2017. Prior to my Master’s program, I worked in substance use support services in both withdrawal management and early addictions recovery programs.
